I'm trying to register my bank card to paypal :/. I'm using a scotiabank card, and I have adjectives other details down except for the "Account Number" it asks for.

This is my bank cards format:

111 1111 111 111 111

The last two sets of numbers are what I'm guessing are the statement number but if it is, how do I type it in? With or withour spaces?

Answers:    Typically your bank card number does NOT correspond next to your bank account number.

It's be a long time since I registered with paypal, but back consequently they wanted me to enter the information from a cheque (which does have the institution number, transit number and story number).

Your bank card has a sequential series of numbers related merely to the series of cards provided to your branch, the only connection between IT and you ACCOUNT is the contact within Scotiabanks computers.

Your best bet is to call the customer support number on the wager on of your card and ask them for the Institution, Transit and Account numbers and then enter those into the Paypal website.
