i am fifteen and i just get my first job and we go to the bank to see something like getting an account started and they said not simply does it cost $50 to start an account but i hold top be eighteen to get a debit card and checks how stupid is that. is it resembling this everywhere?

You have to be 18 to go and get checks because your signature is not legally binding until you are 18, so signing a check past you are 18 means nought!
