There should be a website on the back of the card where on earth you can register the card to the name of your choice & a "billing" address. You can after use it to order things online. I do this regularly w/ Mastercard Gift Cards. They can be registered to any christen & address & have constrained funds. This completely eliminates the possibility of identity appropriation & limits the amount of fraud someone can commit against you, should they be irreputable. Privacy, warranty...these things are AWESOME!
I have used the visa payment card many times past and I have other used the "A Gift for You" as the cardholders name. Never have a problem.
