visa gift card?

Can someone please explain to alittle bit nearly a visa gift card. I don't hold a credit card and I want to buy something online so i was thinking almost getting a visa gift card at approaching longs drug. Can someone explain to me the process of how to
buy a visa gift card. (like how am i suppose to register it, do i report to the cashier similar to my name and stuff and is within anything else i need to know)

You register it on line surrounded by case it's lost or stolen. Everything you call for to know about this is on file. Once you purchase it, you can use it right away.
