Answers:    Any hill will give you a credit card at 18. Try to get a student one even if you aren't surrounded by school they usually give you one. Get a credit card from a hill and one from a store. I worked at Victoria's secret and they won't give you a card unless you already own credit. I wouldn't start off with a store card live VS or Macys, I would look into a 0% intro apr beside cash rewards on purchases. Compare credit card offers and rates at a website approaching http://www.creditimes.com they have 100's of cards to shop and compare.
You could definitley go for a Captial One or Starbucks Duetto card. You can find a application for a Starbucks Duetto card at any one of your neighborhood Starbucks. It doubles as a Starbucks giftcard. You go and get money added to it for drinks and stuff at Starbucks. But you can use it as a cc at other stores. And you get free syrups and soy/breve when you use the Starbucks gift card side. I muse you get $25 when you make your first cc purchase. I work at Starbucks- that's why I know adjectives of this. Good Luck! best bet would be applying for capital one
I hope my suggestion might be helpful, though you obligation to make the judgement yourself.I have tried this accurate resource. http://creditcard.expertips.info/0-apr-v...
Since this is your first credit card expect to pay fees. You have to earn flawless credit from the ground up.

Do not apply for too many credit accounts, especially credit cards for good credit. You will not draw from approved for them because you have no established credit history. Too many credit inquires will lower your credit rack up and prevent you from getting approved for credit later.

Two cards that help relatives with new credit are Orchard Bank and First Premier.

One other leeway you have is if you are a student, you can apply for a student credit card.

Once you have established credit you will know how to get approved for credit cards with no annual fees and carry loans with lower interest rates.
