Citibank always gave me great service
No credit card is the best credit card
Answer:
People who are down on credit cards don't know how to use them. Don't listen to them, you are responsible and hold a good credit score, you can attain whatever cards you like.
Oh my gosh, so abundant are good. I have over a dozen credit cards, but individual am using 4 every month right now which I pay within full. I have two American Express, Amex Hilton and Amex Starwoods which I charge nearly everything on and pay within full each month because I like the hotel rewards so I can break for free. Amex has great customer service as you know. Why switch Clear, just draw from a few more Amex. You don't have to use them all, you can rotate their use. If you want to, after that you can allocate and combine the cards, leaving you one with a giant credit closing date.
Citibank has great customer service too. I also have Citibank Aadvantage card. It's not a hugely good earner at one mile per dollar - but Citi has a 20-25k bonus when you sign up (25k is ample for a free domestic ticket) a

So far this year I've gotten four free hotel nights, a free airline ticket, a free companion ticket and $200 worth of Target payment cards from using my credit cards. No fees, and didn't cost me a dime of interest, paying in full is the smart way to use credit cards.
I would NOT use Chase, I HATE them. They are know for ratejacking and lowering your CL if they don't close to something you are doing. They don't like competition either, designation if you have a lot of exotic accounts or other cards, they don't like it. Capital One is hideous, stay away. Their prime cards are ok, I hear their No Hassle Miles card is decent but I don't resembling the way they operate. When you apply they pull adjectives three of your reports (instead of one like most banks) and do frequent checkups on you pulling your credit everytime they sent you an offer.
You're right to stay away from Cap One - no personal experience, but I hear and read horror stories.
Go to www.motleyfool.com - they have features and info give or take a few credit cards, like best rates and terms. It's an ongoing piece.
With the world discount as it is, NO credit card at all is the BEST credit card!
