listening to homily sports they are advertising a credit card, which you salary into to use as you wish ie Holidays etc
Answers: Did you suggest the talkSPORT prepaid credit card?
If you did,
(1) I don't recommend getting a prepaid credit card.
(2) My answer is based on my assumption of your human being a UK resident. L in front of a number indicates currency within UK pounds.
A prepaid credit card (pcc) is little more than an expensive electronic wallet in which you place your own funds, earn no interest on them while they are within the custody of the pcc company account, and the institution funding the pcc charges you money for using your own money to pay for products and services.
A prepaid credit card (pcc) is not a real credit card (cc). A pcc extends you no TRUE credit. A pcc requires no credit check, and does not affect your credit history. That is, it will not build a good credit history if you use it responsibly; it does not build credit history.
I concede that within comparison to other pcc's, the talkSPORT card has lower fees than the others, but we must still ask, Why settle ANY fees at all to use our deposits?
Why wage L3 to reload it, or inconveniently stand on line at the Post Office to gather L2.25 in reloading fees?
Why retribution L1 to use it for ATM withdrawal, when beside a little planning, you can use your ATM card at your bank's ATM and rate no withdrawal duty?
Why pay a L9.95 tax to open an article? Find an account that have no start-up fee.
You are asked to spinal column the pcc with a debit card. Why not of late use the debit card?
The tout how convenient it is to use in foreign transactions. Do you craft foreign transactions? If yes, is there a smaller amount expensive way than paying L2.75 per transaction, over the currency translation fees?
They claim you can get discount prices online compared to stores contained by the high street. But you can catch those lower prices without using the ppc.
Credit cards commonly have rewards programs for using them. I don't see any for using a pcc.
Handle your finances responsibly and you (or your parent/guardian who loads the card) won't own to pay so much money to be so amiable. A pcc is a high price to reimburse for affinity to a radio station.
