Should teenagers enjoy a credit card?..generate reason to support?

Just as long as they swot up to use it carefully.
No, they should not because they do not understand the importance of working for something they possess. There's a huge difference of value in something that be merely given to you by your parents and something you've bought after working so hard to be able to buy it.
The best risk is a prepaid Visa or Master card :

- no credit (you need to deposit the money before spending)
- no surprises
- no troubles !
absolutely not. no method. not a chance. no no no no no no. They are teenagers and don't even have their harmones surrounded by tact yet. No way. Think support to when you were a teenager. How much did you really verbs about anything REAL important..close to babies for example. How many pregnancies are from teens? They don't necessarily make BAD decision, they just take too tons chances. Don't give them the accident to mess up their credit or yours.
Only other thing I could add would be if it be a credit card where the money is already there. Secured card I suggest it is and they CAN NOT go over the limit. Good luck.

Answers:
Reasons they should...

1. If they are resposible with it they can build good credit and be one step on the competetion when they get hold of out of college and into the working world.

2. The card could serve as emergency back up in suitcase they even needed money for something important.

Bad reasons.

1. The majority of teenagers and at hand friends are not responsible and will rack up more then they can afford.

2. Could ruin credit score and hurt their likelihood of getting loans they will actually need down the road.

3. Gives them the opinion that they can "have" whatever they want at anytime. And sometimes this feeling sticks next to you through out life.
No. There are no reason for teenagers to have credit cards especially if they still live with their parents. Credit cards be created for emergencies. A debit card or a pre-paid card would be a good start.
