Red flag on credit report? I applied for a job, and the lady said she needed to

I applied for a job, and the lady said she needed to run a setting check, She called me back and said nearby was a red flag with my credit. I'm singular 17 so i didnt think that was even possible. Could it be from the university books i never returned?

You should ask your parents to get your credit reports for you. There have be instances where parents had a poor credit rating and used a child's label and SS# to get a credit card.

I was below the impression that background checks be not available for minors. And I don't think you can have credit if you're underneath 18 either. You have to hold a card in your name, not below your parents. If you do, then I suppose I'm wrong, but this is a curious situation.
