Question nearly bill collectors? How many times surrounded by 1 day are they allowed to beckon?

How many times surrounded by 1 day are they allowed to beckon? I have one that call about 10xs a hours of daylight, they leave messages. I enjoy spoken to them and they are aware of my situation. Just wondering

Believe it or not, you can get them to stop calling altogether. You don't own to change your number. Your rights beneath the Fair Credit Reporting Act and Fair Debt Collections Practices Act give you the faculty to have them stop contacting you within any way, shape or form. Just write them a missive, it's called a "abstain from and desist" letter (or C&D for short):

"According to my rights beneath the FCRA and FDCPA, I am charging you to stop contacting me about this debt within any way, shape or form. Do not contact me by phone or post again about this debt."
