Paying past its sell-by date a closed credit card explanation? I went over my credit limit and be unable to make payments
It depends on the card company.
Some will re-open your card once you get it in your credit limits again. Others will not.
I would give them a phone up and ask. Chances are good that since you paid past its sell-by date the entire balance, they will work with you.
Once the story is closed it stays closed. You would have to reapply.
Not likely, lone if you had made an arrangement with that credit card company to reinstate your vindication when the balance was remunerated off. Sorry, the good communication is that it will be a plus in your credit report.
It's closed for pious, if you want to use the card you will have to reapply
Answers:
It depends - some companies will re-open accounts that they have closed and others won't. In broad, they will not re-open accounts if you have not completely paid stale the original balance, plus any fees and interest that own also accrued on the account.
If you own paid off the entire harmonize that they say you owed, your best bet is to call them and ask if it can be re-opened.
U would have to appointment them..
