Alright , I have 4 payday loans that i have taken out . Keep getting call everyday at my job . I couldnt pay them the total amout back but i have be making opayment to them . They keep calling stating that they need more money . Im unqualified to pay the full amount . With me making a payment of 50.00 to them every other week can they come after me ?
They cannot harrass you on your assignment. Tell them that as long as your paying them something that they need to leave you alone. If they don't stop make clear to them that you will press charges against them.
Yes, thats why they are call "Payday Loans" They are the biggest ripoff in history. Just suffer and pay them past its sell-by date then stay the hell away from them in the adjectives.
All they can legally do is bother you. It is not cool they are calling your job. Remind them of that, as most employers frown on this sort of entry, it really could get you fired. One of my friends was contained by the same boat that you are and one of the place, check into cash I believe, came to her house all the time battering on the door! These people are sharks. Pay them off and never use them again.
Do they know where you live? I hope not. Seriously, payday loans are one of the worst things you can do financially. They will eat you alive.
You've got the agreement that be signed with them? Read it.
One thing for sure a $50 allowance will probably keep you paying for a looooonnnngggg time. How much has the principle be down?
Look for them to garnish your wages. Look for your credit to take a hit.
Get on the phone next to them and ask what can be done to resolve this issue. Then get it in writing!
As long as you're paying... I think you're good. But you enjoy to stop getting these... the interest rates must be killin you.

good luck
yes, they can pinch you to court and garnish your wages.
depends on your contract and the longer you pocket repaying it back the bigger it grows
They can NAG you to death.but my understanding is...they can't pursue the debt surrounded by small claims.
yes. If your agreement be to pay back the complete amount at once they can come after you. However maybe you can call the collection dept and work out a diary so they will stop bugging you. Just tell them either nick the $50.00 every 2 weeks or what ever you work out with them and tell them NOT to telephone you at work, or else you could lose your job and later they'll get nothing from you because you'll be on the dole.
You'll have to be firm though.

Answer:
I worked for a payday loan company for 8 years and this is a story I hold een too many tiimes. Payday loans can be helpful if used contained by the right way and VERY infrequently. The problem is that it quickly spirals uncontrolled. If you ask these places to stop calling you at work, they have to or you can sue them. That would be the first step I would take. Tell them not to phone up you again at work, point blank. If you are making regular payments and you have expressed this verbally or within writing as to the schedule of said payments, as long as they accept your payments they are accepting this donation arrangement. BUT..make sure you do not miss a payment or they own every right to proceed.

Different companies will proceed in different ways. Some will just use a collections service close to a normal unpaid debt. Others will try to prosecute you for writing bad checks, and surrounded by some states they can do this. My best advice to you is to continue making the payments prompt or consider a consumer credit counseling agency, they may be able to get you lower payments and obtain rid of some of that interest.

Depending on what state you live in your state may offer you some nouns with this nagging. Some states have special law pertaining to repayment of payday loan companies when you get in over your chief, but most of those require you to enter consumer credit counseling. Most states are on the side of the borrower, not the lender, when it comes to payday loans. I hope you just don't live in Ohio.

Make sure to read the Fair Debt Collections Practices stroke to be informed of your rights as a consumer. Also, check with the CFSA (Community Financial Services Association) some lenders belong to this "self-policing" association and agree to abide by certain rules over and above administration law. If you are familiar beside these things you will be better able to "persuade" these companies to leave you alone and adopt your payments without hassle.

Hope this helps from someone who be in the business and knows the ropes.
payday loans are not a solution to a money problem, they often receive you in deeper than before . . if you don't own enough to meet your wants I suggest selling off assetts or a 2nd job.
No, if they cash your check (aka payment) they are accepting that as an suitable amount. Expect to continue to hear from them at work until you are paid surrounded by full. You can tell them that they are not to call you at work again and any correspondance must be sent to you via e-mail. If they call you after that you can sue them for $2,500 for each hail as according to the FDCPA, a federal law. So potentially they can end up owing you money.

If they try to hold legal action, which I doubt since they will lose as long as they are cashing your payments, you can countersue them for unscrupulous lend practices. You should file a formal complaint with your State's Attorney General straight so you will be on record and perhaps stop their predatory lend practices. To file a complaint, you merely have to dispatch a letter (include your name and address), stating the situation (include adjectives the facts) to your State Attorney General, and state that they are violating the FDCPA.
I've done the "payday loan" thing. WRONG move, Exlax! FOUR of them? You might as very well kiss your a** goodbye. You have to pay them a minimum every week - the amount on the contract. You signed this. If you don't rate them the required payment they will continue to pester the crap out of you.

I did NOT pay mine and I had to draw from another job to avoid their phone calls BUT that's give or take a few all they can do. Call, call, phone call, call.
One more thing to hold on to in mind, if you don't pay them likelihood are your personal checks will not be accepted anywhere either if they use "TeleCheck" or similar check scan company.
They canNOT garnish your wages. This type of "preditor" loan does NOT allow it.

Your email has NOT be confirmed!! this is my reply to your email:

I'm in southern illinois. Check with your state law but as far as I was concerned, I quit paying them. I told them I couldn't pay the amount of interest they be charging me with & asked to make other arrangements. They decline so I closed my bank account which be MT anyway & didn't answer their calls. Eventually they quit calling, nothing have ever been reported on my credit report by them, & they never sent anything legal or otherwise to my home address. They in recent times kinda went away, but like I said, Telecheck will not adopt my checks because of this so I cannot write checks at alot of places like Wal-Mart, CVS, & Kroger. This would be inconvenient but I just use my debit card in attendance.

Also, MY payday loans were NOT local. I did those too but paid them stale & QUICK. The ones I ignored were the ones I get online.
My suggestion to you would be to get these paid & STAY AWAY. They're bad.
If you absolutely cant do it, keep annals of everything you've paid & arrangements you've tried to make. If they steal you to court they'll lose. These days this type of "preditor" loans are getting more & more monitored by the law & they're getting slapped with more & more restrictions.
Pay them rotten as quickly as you can and dont ever take another one. Once you start taking a settle day loan most people hold to keep taking them because when its time to make the pay you need to borrow more money because then your check is short again.
