My visa contribution card expired...? So I have this 100 $ visa gift card that I bought

So I have this 100 $ visa gift card that I bought almost a year ago. But it expired. I compensated money for it though, so is it just going to go to squander? what will happen if i try to use the expired card on a purchase? can i reload it? please help me. i stipulation the card because i am flat broke and my family is going thru financial troubles and im helping them out with my paycheck.

Answers:    What state are you within?

In California, for instance, by law gift cards cannot expire. I suggest you check the fine print see if exceptions are made for your state.
Call the payment card issuer to see if they will reissue it. Some visa gift card issuers will re-issue expired or lost gift cards for a excise, usually $15.

All the best.
Nope..the visa folks appreciate the 100 dollar gift...you lost it.....if you snooze you loose....
