My credit chalk up is 512 is it ok to pay envelope for a loan for 5,000 dollars paying afterwards 249 it that a scam?

If you are paying this because the "company" say you have to bring in the first payment up to that time you make the loan and the simply contact you have beside this company is by phone and mail, DO NOT DO IT! SCAM...some 15+ years ago, I get stuck on one of these. These people thrive rotten of the idea that you obligation the $$$ so bad you are liable to pay for it. And if you are financially strapped, it seem like a angelic idea but afterwards before you grasp your $$$, they bail and disappear. It's like buying a lottery ticket, likelihood are you won't win but in your mind, it's "what if".

Keep your $249 and develop a angelic budget to save up the or remuneration toward what you need the add'l for. Only work beside reputable well-known financial instutions.
Your interrogate doesn't make any sense at adjectives. Are you asking if it's okay to have a $249 origination duty on a $5000 loan?

Answers:    Yes you were scammed. Do not operate with anyone that say they are from the UK. It's a pretty good break they are actually within Africa. Most of those people are individual here to rip you off and NEVER EVER repay a fee up front to borrow money!!
Yes, poor Lisa, go vertebrae and rewrite your question. Is it 249.00 a month for a 5000.00 loan?
We can't give a hand you, if we can't understand it.
What is the $249 you are referring to?
Lisa,

Regardless of what your credit is, never discharge money to get money.
A $250 "upfront fee" for a $5000 loan is not too crazy, if thats' what you're asking.

If you're dictum the payment is $250 a month, resourcefully we need to know the occupancy (number of years) and interst rate to tell you if thats other or not.
