I have a unified account next to a friend but they had cancelled their card 3 years ago and moved out of state but agree to me keep the description since the money on it is mine. The only pursuit on this account is mine as powerfully. Last week, a large amount of money be garnished from the state of michigan for his child support but ALL of the money is mine. What are my rights as far as getting the money vertebrae? I submitted all the files of deposits/withdrawls that the child support enforcement has requested proving the money is contained by fact mine and I still haven't received the money re deposited. I involve the money asap because it is my mortgage payment (past due). Please recommend I never had this ensue and I am beyond shock I just dont know what to do. your wall is supposed to give you see by mail earlier they take out the garnishment. I am not sure I take to mean - you say the friend cancelled their card, did you own them removed from the account? If not and it is a joing details it is going to take you awhile to prove and attain the money back. Unless this "friend" comes up next to the back child support $$.

Figure out how to gain money somewhere else to take safekeeping of your bills. You will have a vastly long wait to take that money back.
