i have a limited credit history, and i be wondering which credit card would be great for a first time credit card holder. a credit card which would include gas discounts or cash back would be great. thankfulness

This card if for 'Credit That Needs Improvement' which requires you to have a credit score between 620-659. If this is not the suitcase, you'll be limited to credit cards for poor / no credit here:
