I am a college student and want to establish my credit. I've read a few guides on this and they recommend starting with a department store credit card. About credit cards, do I hold to pay anything if I don't buy anything for that month? Is within interest? I want a good credit card so I can establish my credit. It sucks self without a credit history. xD Thanks! Orchard card is a polite start for building credit, although it has some fees attached to it. However if you are a college student you shoud apply for the citi student platinum card. It have the lowest interest rate at around 10%. Go to http://creditcardwarehouseonline.com and click on the student credit card link on the not here of the page. You can compare the rates of the cards there. Stay away from the first premier one. Citi is the easiest to return with accepted to.
A student credit card would be best for you since you are just starting to build your credit. If you don't buy anything, you will not own to pay anything on the card. Having a credit history is not a moment ago about getting a credit card. You can also establish a history by paying your desk light bill, cellphone, car loan and student loan if you enjoy one. Capital One is very devout for people who are lately starting to build credits. Bank of America is good for student credit card. http://bestcreditcardratings.com/student...

Answers:    Don't travel with Orchard! They are horrible! Go next to capitalOne. After Orchard and First Premier, Capital One was finally a great hit as my first "real" credit card. I be 17 and they took me with a $400 stripe.
I started with an EXXON gas card.

Bought adjectives my gas from them and made sure I paid it past its sell-by date every month and NEVER missed a payment.

When I go to get a regular credit card it be no problem.
your best choice is a student credit card because they enjoy lower interest rates and no annual fees check out www.fastcreditcardapprovals.com and go lower than student cards.
