i accidentally signed up in this astrology entry by mistake..in the log within form it didnt asked me that i should type a credit card number.I received an e-mail sayin..This is a $30 annual value ... certainly free! am i still going to pay for it or its free and the free entry will just stop sending me things after few months..im only confused..help..
Don't verbs bout it. if you've given no credit card number/payment details they won't even both processing the application!! Seriously, the email you got be probably just computer/system generate.
PEACE
. :0)
if u didnt put any card info in and your TRUE address then I pretty sure you wont be charged.
Answers: You shouldn't make available any personal information on the net especially credit card/bank details, seeing that you didn't hand over them these details they couldn't charge you but if the service you are getting has a bona fide value (other than the token expediency of $30 it seems they hold just pulled out of their arses) they may construct their money off of you by other manner eg selling your email address to marketing services or by bombarding you with offer to buy things from them... This is where it could mar you.
Once they have your email adress they will probably hang on to sending you things because email is a free service, there may be an way out to unsubscribe from their mailing roll or otherwise you could block/filter the messages.
Report those scammers!
