you preserve asking these questions over and over again... waiting for a different response?
contact Equifax, ask to see your report, and then write a communication disputing the problem

Answer:

YES! That has happen to me. If ONE person enters the number incorrectly it will follow you for enthusiasm and cause a LOT of problems.
It sounds to me like you own a problem with identity theft. You call for to follow the procedures that Equifax tells you to follow to appeal your rating and file the proper paperwork, etc.

It may be possible that someone else is using yours. Is your credit good? Contact SSN.
Saying that you enjoy "thousands of dollars worth of credit" sounds like a good article. If instead they said you had thousands of dollars of DEBT, that would be bad. It might close-fisted that someone else is using YOUR number - basically, identity theft. In the USA near are laws that let you check your credit for free, once a year. And by regulation if you are turned down for credit then you also receive a copy of your credit report.
IF YOU BELIEVE THAT A MISTAKE HAS BEEN MADE "IN YOUR FAVOR" IT PROBABLY HAS AND WILL CATCH UP WITH YOU. BEFORE YOU ACT, DO MORE RESEARCH JUST TO PROTECT YOURSELF DOWN THE ROAD.
