a lot of credit cards out at hand have platnium status...is that somethign they thrown as a sign..or does it mean u are truly at "platnium" status? what is the average credit evaluation for having usch a card i currently hold 3 of them. thanks
Platinum cards offer more because your credit win is generally alot better after the "average joe". Also, keep contained by mind that when you have a card similar to a platinum, etc. the issuer
i.e. bank etc. usually make alot of money off of you as a cardholder.READ THE ADDENDUM CAREFULLY! That is the statement i.e. always issued next to a credit card saying what the language and agreements are. There is always a detain
to extending credit,so be careful!
usually if you own platinum all it mode is that there are rewards they may tender or better limits or vocabulary and conditions.

no matter what, credit card companies are out to sort money on you so be very reliable!
yesit is better, they own higher credit lines, which donate you a better credit score, short explaining everything, if you kept the same set off on your plat card that you would on your reg credit cardit would show that you have credit available but you restrain yourself from doing it, blah blah blah
They both report your consumer spending matching way. The with the sole purpose difference is that platnium gives you more rewards than the regular. But, hang on to this in mind they are adjectives design to keep you surrounded by depth. The platnium sometime is given to prestigious club member. Good luck chosen.
Rogue.

Answers:    Basically... a platinum credit card is a regular credit. In the recent past, 'platinum cards' were reserved for a select few who have extremely high credit score (and incomes). They received better features such as lower APR's, higher credit restrictions, longer grace periods and other perk.

Today, most people beside good credit can bring a 'platinum' card. Although your credit score still determines the type of benefits you'll receive-- near are many different level of status that all tip out under the 'platinum' title.

Platinum really doesn't imply anything anymore...

Hope this helps...
Platinum is really only just a label immediately. Generally it gives you perk that the normal ones don't, such as rental insurance or other features. In former times it meant something, but is very soon really a marketing ploy by companies. Although several companies such as American Express still treat Gold Cards and Platimum cards as a higher status. It really depends on the company as to the consignment the platinum status gives you.

They do not necesarily be a sign of you have a high credit limit. I hold a seen "Platinum" MasterCards beside only a $300 hinder.
I just get approved for a Capital One Platinum card despite the fact that other credit card companies decline me because I hold a charge-off. So that rules out the "good credit myth"

They articulate the credit limit will be between $300 and $2000, which rules out the myth that platinum cards own "high credit limits".

There is a $39 "sponsorship fee" (I guess to be in the platinum club)

The merely perk I see is that there is a 0% intro APR for 6 months. However, the credit card proffer actually said, "..help yourself to advantage of exclusive Platinum benefits close to rental car insurance, extended warranty protection, and travel assistance services...", but I come up with my regular card does those stuff too. Which makes me focus "Platinum" is just an abandon title.

To be honest I would prefer a regular card that is free than a platinum one beside fees.
