Improving credit? I have a few things on my credit report and I am

I have a few things on my credit report and I am now competent to clear all of them. Once I pay the amount I owe will my credit mark immediately go up and will the debt quickly clear off the report? ALSO, if there isnt a contact number or address of the collections place, how do I find out where on earth to send my payment?

Answers:    Your chalk up will slowly improve or stay the same if you repay this off. This mark will stay on your journal for years.

You need to pay any uncap credit card accounts or loans on time from now on. If you don't hold anything open, you need to seize new credit so that you can build new positive credit history to past its sell-by date set the old. I still have things on my report that are distrustful, but I was still able to buy a house.
No. don't simply remuneration them off, your score will remain low for longer if you do... they budge by the last entry and count seven years after that,, So make sure you return with a written promise for the one owed that they will NO LONGER REPORT or you will not pay them. most will gladly promise not to report any longer as long as they gain paid...

Once you have the promise and you own paid, challenge the entry, it should disapear if they hang on to their promise, if not threaten to sue them for breach. They will stop reporting after that. they have no interestn keeping your credit srewed up, they newly want their money...
