Hello,
This is off topic, i recived a call from collections. Someone have opened a company under my describe so it was the case of ID fraud. I asked the individual over the phone if i could have a phone number so i could follow up on what is going. however she would not give me any sort of number.
what should i do? and what will appear from here?

Answers: First run all 3 free credit reports through annualcreditreport.com or phone up them toll free (a) 1-877-322-8228. Review the reports and if there is something you're not aware of, dispute it immediately. Then put the explanation on Fraud Alert through Trans Union Fraud Dept. Their toll free # 1-8OO-680-7289. They will notify the other 2 bureaus for you at no cost. You have to renew it every 90 days. Better to be safe than sorry latter.

Read the articles about fraud and credit freezes. You sound close to a victim of ID Theft.
Also a company trying to collect from you must in I suggest 10 days send you a notice of the debt within writing. The you can determine if it is your debt, if it's not your debt there is a form drop dead note you can send stopping the phone calls.
