I doubt you are going to take 6%. That is probably a teaser deal which then reverts stern to 3% after a while. It sounds like the Citi Drivers Edge.

So be careful and read the fine prints. There are credit cards that compensate you 3% and even 5% cash rebates on gasoline purchases. Below are a couple of resources.
