I hold a civil ruling against me for credit debt dated Aug 2004? I filed for collapse back surrounded by May of 2002 for this

I filed for collapse back surrounded by May of 2002 for this debt, however I didn't follow through with my collapse claim, meaning I didn't show up to court. Is this debt still helpful? in my state in that is a 6 year statue of limitations.
Basically what I'm trying to figure out is from what date do I start to amount out if the statue of limitation run out?
Judgments ebb and flow state by state. Some states can renew it every 10 years and others don't. You tolled the state SOL (this means you re-set the SOL) when you inferior to appear in court, so the clock started over again.

Wow you nouns like a really responsible soul. Massive debt, not even following through on your own bankruptcy proceedings. yowser!

Since you never certainly declared bankruptcy and a civil judgement be entered against you I judge that means you own to pay it support.

But at any rate to answer your question I would budge with Aug 2010.
Probably. It will follow you to your grave lucklessly.
The SOL only covers how long they own to sue you.

They already did that.

This will be on your credit report until you pay it.

Answers:    Statute of Limitations limits how long a creditor have to decide to sue you. If at hand is a judgment, after SOL no longer applies. There is a time they have to collect the verdict (in my state it's seven years), but if you don't pay, they can keep hold of renewing it, every seven years. It will be on a public record database that credit bureaus and other can access.
