I am 18 and I suggest I am prepared for my first credit card? Any tips on what type of card to get or where

Any tips on what type of card to get or where to look for one?
Try for a card next to a low interest rate; there are ads for credit card companies everywhere; any that or see a bank. Try to stay away from American Express; they make you retribution your entire balance every month. Good luck to you!
Get a brief first.
I'm 18 too but I wouldn't touch a credit card with a 40 foot pole.
My reason: I am afraid I will spend too much and lapse up in debt. I would only pilfer this situation if I really had to go into debt similar to if I went to uni next year and I have no money saved up in my first year.
Trust me, it's better to stick to debit card. Once I saw my cousin's harmonize and it said like over 2000... she was 18 at the time but in a minute I realise it was over -2000. Don't do it!
American Express Blue card. It was my first card and it is awesome. The rewards program is great.

Be careful next to credit cards, coming from first hand experience.

Answer:
NO NIKKI NO..DONT DO IT! CASH IS A GIRLS BEST FRIEND
DON'T DO IT!
Go with the checking card from your guard if you must! All credit cards are scams! Cards are the best way to find into crushing debt and now you can't get out from below them using bankrupcy!!
Don't get too many credit cards. Be careful-- spawn sure you pay your credit card at least two weeks earlier the due date.

Don't get a card w/ an annual fee.
Don't!

Stick with cash.
Credit Bubble :)
Go ahead...I recommend a fake name, social surety number, a "black box" to re-route collection agency calls and be sure to provide an "address-within-an-address" to avoid them contacting you by mail. Your not feeble enough nor responsible enough for a credit card nonetheless...
The best tip is: Don't! There is no need for credit cards. Borrow as little as you can for your entire duration. If you can't afford to pay cash for something right in a minute, how will you do it next month?
Visa and MasterCard are more widely accepted than any other. Look for a low fixed rate. Don't be lured in by a low or 0% intro rate. All of my cards are from Chase, over the years they enjoy shown to be the best company compared to others, at least for me. Also if you drive alot you may want to look into a card that offers brass back on gas. Chase has those as capably, but the interest rate isn't that great. And most importantly, pay the balance past its sell-by date each month. If you can't do that then you are unqualified for a credit card.
Age doesn't mean anything.

Do you work?
Atleast 8 hours a afternoon for 5 days?
Responsible with your actions and money?
Go ahead, produce sure you can pay for what you buy.
don't do it! it will lead you down a trail to debt. but since you are asking i will tell you that it is probably easiest to get a department store credit card first. after the major credit card offers will find their process to your mailbox. my first card was a target card.
