I'm 14 and I have tried 2 diffrent places the first be american express and the second was discoverey. They both wouldn't except me because I'm below the age of 15 and 18. Can some one please explain to me a credit card place that will give me a credit card at the age of 14. I've worked for several credit card companies, including Bank of America, GE Money, HSBC, Bank of New York...

Legally, you can't catch a credit card until you're 18. You cannot enter into a binding contract until that age, federal law.

You CAN be an authorized user on your parent's cards, though. That would be the ONLY path you'd get one, besides the prepaid cards.

Umm, why would they give a credit card to a 14 year antediluvian? Your not renting cars or hotel rooms. Do you really think a 14 year ancient would pay it put money on? Just pay surrounded by cash. I don't think you can anywhere, you can procure a debit card though...

you can procure a KID credit or debit card at walmart. it is a visa card and YES there is such entry im not a liar that doesnt travel and put people down simply because im older than them.
