Okay, so I have doomed to failure credit. That was six years and 3 months since my end payment to two credit cards. Both accounts hold been bought and sold several many times over yesteryear years, but now because the seven years is almost up they are calling me time and night, disappearing messages on any phone they cen. They even got my cell phone number that I use for emergecies from somewhere (not from me). One agency after much debate finally told me that they will turn it over to the IRS beside some 1099C and let them fiddle with it. Then they called me two days then and asked if i was going to salary yet. The other company finally disclosed their moniker *** and said they would call put money on again and again until i take safekeeping of this. I told them not to call after seven pm MST becasue my son go to bed at that time. They have call me everyday after 8pm. How do I get them to stop. They claim the 7 yrs is from the time they bought the depiction which is wrong but how do I get them to stop??

you can take them to court for stalking... and tell them that... they will stop and if they phone your cell phone tell them it's a cell and they are not to call for u on it... it's against the law! find out what the local law are for solicating phone call hours on specific days... if they phone after that keep a log and inform them you will take them to court for harrassment! it worked for me... they stopped calling i told them adjectives correspondences needed to be in writing for a papertrail

Answers: First of adjectives they will tell you ANYTHING they surmise might get you to distribute money in. They will convey you they will arrest you, put you in prision, mitt you over to the IRS, on and on and on. It's all lies, and most of it violate the 'Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act'. They will call your parents, neighbors, friends, siblilings, and minister if they haven't already. They merely want you to make one single allowance so the 7 year clock will start over. If they promise you something that sounds good to you, obtain it in writing since sending them anything.

I would at least unplug and turn sour the phones after 7 so your son can sleep.

They will probably still try to collect after the 7 years are up too, although it won't be as aggressive. I'm sorry to say, you've get a rough time for the next several months.
