Can you actually explain to me what credit is and wha tI can do with it?

I'm turning eighteen within September. I've had one job since August '07 and that's where on earth I'm at right now. No credit cards. No way.

Answers:    you could start building your credit by getting a personal loan or a credit card any way you are able to start credit using these two option, credit cards are usually the easist way to start your credit with, usually you will with the sole purpose get approved for a lower end credit card when you start your credit but once you own stablish you will be able to apply for cards that give you better rates and rewards. check out www.fastcreditcardapprovals.com here you will know how to find a card no matter what your credit is go below poor or no credit section, but if you are a student apply for a student card.

You have to borrow money and make payments in good time to get a high credit win so that you can borrow money and make payments. Terrible plan financially. You also have to maintain borrowing money and keep making payments on time to hang on to a high score. All it brings is debt.

Look thru these forums for a while and you will see adjectives the people that worship the fico and are in debt up to their eyeballs.

If you recompense as you go. If you live on less than you be paid. You will have money and not have to worship at the alter of the almighty fico.

Of course the bankers and credit card/fico evaluation worshipers are gonna tell you different.

Debt free is the way to be!
Get a credit card, use it a few times a month, and foot it off every other time, and 3/4 the other half. Every two months phone call the credit card company and ask for credit line increase. Correct errors on your credit report. Your report must prove to the lender that he will get his money backbone.

Some retail and gasoline credit cards are not revolving (do not carry a monthly balance) and sometimes are easier to obtain than regular cards. Over time they can minister to establish history. If you don't have a checking account, instigate one. You have very little credibility beside lenders if you don't have at least a checking side and preferably a savings account as resourcefully. Just as importantly, be sure not to overdraw your bank account. Bouncing checks sends a signal to potential lenders that you can't muddle through your daily finances and are therefore not a apt credit risk.

With careful planning and a little wisdom of how lenders issue credit, you CAN establish a credit history fairly painlessly. There are many businesses waiting contained by line to take ascendancy of you by charging exorbitant fees or interest rates, so be careful out there.

I would insist on you to try to get a student credit card. You should only use it surrounded by emergency's and keep what you use less than 30%.That resources $100.00 only use $30.00 and pay prompt each month.
It is very big that you pay on time respectively month and always pay at tiniest the minimum.
If you do this it will help you later to buy a coup¨¦ or rent an apartment or even get a good assignment. Good credit is a must in today's society.
Good Luck!
Actually having a credit card is essential to builing your credit. Get a card near a small limit like $500-$1000. Use it perceptively and pay off the control every month. The longer you have a credit account established next to on-time payments and even better yet, a paid stale balance the better your credit score would be. I would suggest getting a card beside a credit union. They typically offer low rates, devout customer service, and they will only give you the hold back YOU want. Some bigger companies will give you a rediculously large row of credit that you don't need, and that is highly tempting to use.

Another good road to build your credit is to have a car loan. I don't know what your parents are approaching, but my dad financed 2 cars in both mine and his name to build my credit.

Also I would suggest reading Suzy Orman's Young, Broke and Fabulous. The book is targeted more to infantile people who are already in debt, but it will show you what you should and should not do.
unfortunatly you have to make big purchases such as a home or a sports car.. or just have one credit card that you would use as if it be a debit card, you can go on line and clear your bill right then and there so as to not incure %
The big credit secret not a soul knows about:

Piggybacking still works, next to a twist.

Have your parents add you as a "joint" story holder to one of their really good credit cards. Authorized user will not wor, must be joint.

You will see a greatly quick increase in your score.
