It looks horrible on your credit and will stay on your credit report for at least 7 years...unless the credit reporting agencies can't verify the information (many times they can't)...then they hold to remove it from your reports.

listen . hear those trumpets playing TAPS !

Thats the song played when soldiers are buried or police officers that enjoy passed away !

In Short You have no credit at adjectives repossesion of a car for non reimbursement is breaking a contract of a LOAN from a Bank !
It's tough, but you can turn it around eventually. Hang surrounded by there and don't listen to adjectives the negativity...
I agree next to the others..You have to try and recompense off any remaining harmonize to clear up your credit. All hope is not lost though, some car dealerships and loan companies will still work next to you in getting a vehicle in the adjectives. Your payments and interest may be higher though:-(
This will have a enormously bad impact on your credit. To minimize the impact, label sure to pay any remaining go together owing on the loan.
Auto finance is what I do for a living and this is what will come up; the lender will sell the vehicle at auction for smaller number then it's worth and consequently come after you for any remaining balance plus interest, fees for the repossession, auction storage and lawyer. This can amount to several thousand dollars.

If you still do not pay them they will lift you to court and get a sensitivity at that point they can attach bank accounts, garnishing wages (if your State allows it) and file liens on any other property you may own approaching cars, boats, land and homes.

All of this collection commotion plus the repossession will show on your credit for the next 7-years making it subsequent to impossible to get any other loans short making huge down payments, fees and State maximum interest rates.

Avoid this if there is any agency, you are going to end up paying for the vehicle by some means so why lose the use of it and ruin your credit?
