I got a credit report today. My credit score is lower than what I expected.Apparently I owe someone $149. It doesn't speak who I owe, it just gives a number beneath the account name and say I'm at least 120 days late.

Answer:
Usually citizens you owe money to find you.

In this case, the credit reporting bureau has a process where on earth you can dispute an item. It differs depending on the agency (Experian, TransUnion, etc.) Inform them that the debt has been salaried and that the item should be removed. That might or might not work, but it's worth a try.
