Food Stamps? I am going to be moving out with my boyfriend in july

I am going to be moving out with my boyfriend in july and will be renting a room out from a friend of his. we will be paying $550 a month and will be splitting the cost. this includes adjectives utilities. i make about $500-$600 a month but i dont own a set schedule so icould make more or smaller quantity. i have some bills, inculding my car insurance ($60) a gym devotion which is $99 and a cell phone bill (about $50...but this is under my moms plan but i still pay her respectively month). and a credit card with a $20 minimum payment. would i be capable of qualify for food stamps? with gas being so expensive and everything, i dont know how im going to afford food, but i dont know if my income would tolerate me get food stamps or if my living situation would be a problem? does anyone have an opinion?

Answers: they will average out your income.since you dont make to much you should be able to take it.i believe that the only bills that they will let you use is utilities and rent unless you enjoy kids.if anything they will give it to you for a few months.look up food stamps in your state and apply for it the worst piece that can happen is that they say no.

How frail are you? Do you have children? Are you disabled?

I suspect you will not qualify for food stamps.

You are not working 40 hours a week (you fashion $125 to 150; however, 40 hours times $6 = $240). So, it seems you should be looking for full-time work.

Maybe you should rethink moving out - you don't say how much your boyfriend make -- if he makes three times more than you do, you shouldn't be expected to pay partly of the cost of the room. If he is insisting that you pay half, he is not self very kind or f��te. In other words, with your diminished income, you would be paying part of his celebration cost. Not nice!

You didn't say where you live, but surrounded by my area $550 a month is an exorbitant rate to pay for a room. You can rent a one-bedroom apartment for $450 a month.

So, look until that time you leap -- you could be getting yourself in a mess of trouble with outstandingly little advantage.

Who will be responsible for keeping up the room, making the meals, doing the laundry, doing the shopping, etc.? If your boyfriend expects you to do adjectives this and be his live-in, too, you are getting the short end of the "stick." i importantly doubt it, first of all get rid of cell phone thats 50 dollars more, second get hold of rid of gym membership and walk to stay within shape thats another 100 dollars!

ok. you are below your mom's cell phone plan. You only make 500 a month? You want to rent some room from some dud your boyfriend know. Now you want food stamps? You need to go to college and stop one a LOSER.You are going to be knocked up and on the streets. If you go to your state website for DHS they may have an app you can permeate out to tell what you can qualify for if any.

Visit the Department of Social and Health Services in your state. Each state has diff requirements. However, if you are single and own no dependents chances are you will not get much if any at adjectives. Get a second job and cancel your gym bias, and your cell phone. Those are not necessities. Wouldn't you feel guilty spending $99 a month on a gym membership and getting rule handouts?

Welfare is meant for people who truly want it not for people who are lazy and don't want to receive off their butts and work.

Gas and food are expensive for everyone right now. Splitting $500 a month rent is nought and if you can't swing that then you are not ready to move out.

Grow up, work a second duty if you have to if you want to live on your own and still have things that are not necessities, and not expect to grasp a free ride from people that pay their taxes work and still narrowly get by but don't get welfare.

You are disqualified to have an "easier" life than anyone else.

If you do not have a child (living next to you) YOU WILL NOT QUALIFY for food stamps!
