Financial Woes? First of all, I'm a junior within college. I'm clueless about finances.

First of all, I'm a junior within college. I'm clueless about finances. I own three high interest rate credit cards. One have a $1500 limit, and I own about $1200 on it. One have a $500 limit, and I hold about $400 on it. Another have a $300 limit, and I own about $200 on it. Most of this is due to medical bills. I know that medical bills are a priority to money off, so I'd a bit pay a monthly credit card bill than failure to pay on those. I've never been behind on a credit payment. My credit rack up with Equifax is 625. I'm trying to my financial situation. My mother told me to apply for a bunch of lower interest rate credit cards and later transfer my symmetry to it and close my other credit cards, but I'm finding out that looks bad beside so many inquiries into my credit and near closing my credit card accounts that have be open the longest. I'm really confused. I don't know what to do. Advice?
If you can transfer the soaring interest rate cards to a lower interest rate card, that's a good belief. Don't close any accounts, that way you save your oldest cards in tact for your adjectives credit history.

Inquiries only finishing stay on your bureau report for two years, and the older they are the smaller amount they count.

The bigger question is that if you've maxed out your three cards, do you hold anyway from keeping yourself from doing it with added cards? It's so easy to spend, and difficult to foot off. Are you done paying medical bills? If so, retribution off these cards, cut them up and live sour the money you have...it's summer - seize a job - even at $7-8 an hour, you'll product enough to clear off the cards.
Med bills are low on the credit score, and if below a hundred piece basically denote nothing for those if you convey in $5 a month at hand is nothing they can do to you. The more you apply for credit the lower your gain, just save paying the ones you have in good time and get the balance down

Your mom be right about finding a credit card (or two) to symmetry transfer to.
Though I don't agree next to closing the existing accounts - just don't use them !

Be exceedingly thorough in reading harmonize transfer vocabulary for the cards you apply for and receive.
The company may or may not expect you to pay a symmetry transfer levy. They may expect you to pay a small interest rate or it may be a nil rate. etc., etc., etc.

And - be sure to keep an eye on the payoff date. If you do not hold them paid past its sell-by date by that date you will be hit with the non-attendance interest rate.
Try for a debt consolidation loan to help take-home pay off those better interest credit cards. A bank or credit federation would be a good place to start and afterwards determine to keep maybe one of your credit cards. As long as you keep up beside your payments, you'll do OK.
