Does walmart check self when you use a credit card? my mom wants me to travel get her a strange headlight for

my mom wants me to travel get her a strange headlight for her car, and some dog food, and she said i could obtain stuff if i needed anything.. and she gave me her credit card, and i told her i dont assume i can use it because they are going to ask to see my id and see im mat, and the card say leah

but she says they dont check, but do they?

i might simply go use my own hill card but if i could get a couple things and enjoy my mom pay that would be sweeet

Legally, you can't your her card. Most stores today, Wal-mart included never even look at the card. They have reader set up so the customer swipe the card and the cashier doesn't even know if its a Visa or a MasterCard.

They do check.

Answers: Have your Mom affix you as a secondary cardholder on the description - then you hold a card in your dub. For MOST companies (I cannot guarantee for all) a secondary cardholder does not enjoy to undergo a credit check. This style, you do not have to perceive guilty when you use the card since it is in your baptize, and your Mom is still officially the depiction holder, so will officially be responsible for charges applied on the card.

If the local Wal-Mart is NOT checking ID's or singatures, they are within violation of their merchant contracts - whether it speeds up service ot not - they are pipe up cusotmers for fraud.

Usually if you use it as Debit, they don't check, because you need to know the PIN. But if it is strictly a credit card, they will probably ask for ID. Especially if the pay for of the card says "PLEASE SEE ID" which is the best entity to write on the card instead of having a signature.

Some cashiers check and some don't. However, it is my understanding that they should be checking.

It is not against the directive to check for id and it is also not against the tenet not to check for id. However, within some countries it against the MasterCard and Visa policy to check for ID.

I use my card at wal-mart all the time and they own never once ask for ID. If they do for some reason, explain to them you have green light to use the card, they can call your mother to verifty you own permission to use the card.
