I recently got a house, however, since I don't hold any credit history, the mortgage is under my father's name, but I'm paying for it - checks are from my portrayal and my name.
Does this effect my credit score? Or does it at lowest possible show up on my records?

I agree with acermill, you are not taking power of the tax benefits from mtg interest, and in extra if not on the mtg you are not building your personal credit.

If your given name and social security number are not on the contract, you will not benefit from your timely payments, your father will.
