Does shopping around beside several brokers lower your credit? My husband and I are in have need of of a refi

My husband and I are in have need of of a refi on our house. We currently have a ARM and want to attain a 30 year fixed. We have be in the untimely stage planning of this, and talked to several citizens who handel refi's not having them process anything all the same.

If we give more than one agent authority to run our credit do we run the risk of damaging our already shakey credit win? Brokers shop your credit already
I would stick near a local mortgage banker and one morgage lender

yes multiple credit inquires can hurt your credit
BUT
as long as it is for potentialy indistinguishable thing... probably not more than 15 points or so.
yes, i would not let too various companies go into your credit, even though they speak mortgage companies can, the mortgage companies now use credit companies to check your credit and FIFO.com say that's not good. times hold changed. can you refi w/the company you are with very soon? I'd try that first, but first bring up your own credit yourself and make sure it's polite and no problems. I'd then newly deal w/a substantial company, like gmac or countrywide. sooner the better, as the rates are low in a minute. good luck Yes the more your credit is pulled the worse it will get. do you know what your win is? I have someone I work beside that may be able to comfort you, actually they enjoy been helping lots they are in PA.

M
every time someone runs your credit u lose points i own been trying to refi and someone showed me this i be shocked we tried everyone because we have low score also finally we tried our bank we never tried them because we thought our numbers be to low for a bank to do it but finally the approved near a great rate

Answers:    Many inquiries during a short period of time can affect your credit chalk up, but when it comes to finding the best mortgage deal, it is a smart concept to shop around and know all the available option. So your credit score may be lowered a touch bit. Don't worry roughly speaking that too much. Getting the best mortgage is more important to you contained by the long run. It can save you seriously of money.
No problem. The rating agencies know that you can solely get one mortgage on a house, so multiple inquiries for mortgage are evidently rate shopping and are lumped together as one.
