Does Orchard Bank Credit cards really develop your credit rating? I have just be approved for a Gold card from Orchard Bank.

I have just be approved for a Gold card from Orchard Bank. This is a secured card, i didn't have to put $200 down. The reason i own been thinking about using this is i inevitability to improve my credit rating! I have have some problems in the bast due to lack of work. Has anyone have any luck with this company? Has anyone had their credit rating revolutionize over time with this company?
I have no credit history or score as I have compensated cash for everything for the last 17 years. When I be on a trip and had to hunt for a motel to stay at that would take dosh I decided it was time to capture back in the credit activity. I applied at the Orchard Bank site and the card that I was approved for was the Silver secured card, 200.00 rein in. I thought this was very low but sent the 200 contained by anyways. I've had this card for 16 months now and hold never charged more that $55 a month which I pay on time and surrounded by full every month. I've called the number on the back of the card for a shorten increase and to switch over to an unsecured card, no luck there. Their e-mail back to me say Orchard Bank does periodical reviews and the review for mine isn't due up yet? But have the card does help your score. I applied for a personal loan at my mound and they obtained my FICO score and it be surprisingly high. In the meantime I applied for AM EX Blue and was approved in attendance, $2,500 limit. These inquiries were spread out over a year and a partly. The orchard Bank card can raise your score if you don't mind paying the 36 dollar annual tax, making payments on time and keeping usage 30 percent or less.
I have an unsecured card for Orchard and they do report to adjectives three major credit bureaus...so yes it is improving my credit.

The same article should be true with a secured card. As long as you are keeping your balance below 50% of the available credit available and you are making prompt payments it will help your credit over time.

As you can tell from the consensus, it's recognized: Orchard Really does help. I have one myself that I use for everyday purchases. Although I be approved for a regular unsecured card, I had started with a secured card, and I built the contain up by adding to the deposit. I managed to attain it up to about $7,500. I knew that I would draw from the deposit back becuase I paid any more than the minimum or in full on time every month. It served as a springboard to give a hand me get another card with an even sophisticated limit. So, whatever you do, boost that rein in when you can, keep the balance low, and settle up on time every month!
You are talking 200 dollars surrounded by charges and the card being unsecured. I have 2 orchard cards and my rating have gone fron low mid 400 to low 600 in 2 years. To answer your question yes it does minister to it is just you have to retribution to get the card. Thing is it only help as lobg as you pay timely payments and also pay a bit more than minimum.
Yes, it can improve using this card if you use it sagely. They do report to the credit bureaus. Just make a couple small purchases each month and reimburse it off when you receive the billing statement. Over time, you will see your score restore. It's not a quick fix.
This will help you... Just make sure you buy small things resembling gas, food, or pay a bill.. and when the bill comes pay it bad..

I would say after 6 months you should see a improvement..
I used Orchard wall after my bankruptcy and it helped me closely.

Use it every month for every day purchases like gas and food, save your balance below 30% of your limit every month and retribution before the due date and you will be fine.

I did this and after about 10 months I get a much better card and did the exact same thing with the trial one and 10 months later my score have increased over 100-points.

If you get a better card after a few months, do not cancel your Orchard card, verbs to use it since a full 35% of your score is based on reward history.
