My fiance is sending me $$$ for time off and I just want to know when it will be available to buy my tickets and stuff...

Thanks!! If you phone them, they will tell you for sure. I know I haven't be thrilled with how long they tend to hold things, so I usually deposit funds I requirement right away into another account I hold.

It depends on where on earth it is being written from...the 800 should clear in 3-5 days unless it is coming from far away...the 1500.00 will take 3-10 days depend on which state it is coming from.It can also depend on whether a sandbank will verify funds.some banks only don't do verifications and that's what makes the turn around times longer...When you deposit the ck surrounded by your account, if they are going to put the hold on the funds...the bank clerk should give you a sheet that tell the exact date the funds will be available.if not ask her. Answers: It adjectives depends on the Branch Manager, but I believe their policy is 5 to 7 business days. I left BOA due to things of this personality. Not very straightforward to work with. Good luck!

It really depends on the type of check. They probably put a 7-day hold on a personal check for $800.
