Does anybody beside a Capital 1 card know a hill that don't charge lb5 for paying the monthly bill?

I've never heard of this one - sounds incorrect that you should be charged for paying your bill monthly. You may want to contact trading standards. I don't pay for paying my bills monthly - I use Halifax and hold previously used Barclaycard and MBNA
US Bank in the USA offers free online bill settle up to customers with both a business and a personal account. I dont know if they hold divisions in other countries or other conditions under which they provide the free bill payment service though.
Capital 1 is going on for the only card that bad debtors/payers can go and get, and for that privilege, you're going to have to pay through the muzzle.

Why is it those stupid bloody yanks can't read? You say that you're contained by the UK, so what's the first prattish answer you get? It's from a yank unfolding you about a USA bank surrounded by the USA. IS MIKE JUST AN IDIOT OR IS HE BLIND? and I'm not too sure about No2 - Tony - either, the clue person in the word "Mailing". In the UK it's called posting.. Bit of a giveaway I suspect!
Capital 1 keep pestering me to have their poxy card. Have you see the average interest rate? 34.9% Thats disgusting! I am with Barclay card, and they charge 21% in comparison.

And most bank charge you to pay your bills through them, if you don't already hold an account beside them. Otherwise you get to pay them free.

Answer:
I have a capital 1 card and I also have the same problem. I tried HSBC, The Woolwich and they both charged me. I now use Barclays because they dont charge but you own to tolerate the queing :)
No, sorry, I don`t hold this card but, if you look on the statement,on the bit where you fill contained by the amount you are going to pay etc, there should be the signature of a bank,if you go into that ridge to pay, they usually do not make a charge..

Hope this help.
I use Wachovia, and ING, but I only pay by mail a check. It's cheaper.
