Ive got impossible credit. around 540. The worst account is near Discover (about 5 years ago), it was charged stale, I was sued and finally settled and salaried it. My question is, once the depiction is charged off, does Discover ever offer another credit card to the person?

Also, I'm paying adjectives by bills on time, I no longer own any open collection accounts, when do you infer I will be able to obtain an American Express account? My credit aspiration is to have one.

Thanks within advance.

Answers:
DON'T! apply for cards if you don't call for them. Credit inquiries lower your score. You already know that your rack up is 540 and to qualify for an AmEx, you need at lowest possible a 700.

If somehow you were competent to get a card from another mound, you would have a severely high interest rate or some other undesirable point.

Here's a website that shows the credit offers available depending on credit worthiness:

Scroll down and look surrounded by the left margin- select 'search for cards by credit rating'
