im tired of you bill collectors calling me ans scolding me like a child when im behind on payments whats subsequent spanking with a paddle?your the one whos tough over the phone im basically defending myself like other debtors. we are too old to be whooped and put contained by the corner
Well, it is usually someone getting paid at or just above minimum wage; the merely way they can feel perfect about their job is to whip the moral high ground with the family they call. I doubt most of those people making the call actually pay their own bills in good time...
Pay your bills.

It's their commission to harass you, and if you had compensated them in the first place, they wouldn't have to bother you presently.

Answer:
You have the right under the Fair Credit Reporting Act to request that a company not contact you by phone, even if you legitimately owe them money (the debt is still your responsibility, undoubtedly, but they can't call you). You have to build your request in writing, but once you have you can use it to terrify them just like you can terrify telemarketers with the do-not-call list. Ask for their term and employee number! Fight back!
They have no right to scold you. It's against the ruling. You should report the company to the BBB.
As someone who formerly worked in a debt collection call meat (and HATED every minute of it) I'd suggest reporting the company for harassment. Yes, it is your responsibility to pay your bills, but sometimes human being harassed and hounded just make things worse. I hated having to phone population who were in debt and ask them for money, so I quit. They are adjectives b**s. Report them.
