Creditors calling my home just about my son's bills? Creditors have be calling my home about my son's bills that he
Creditors have be calling my home about my son's bills that he owes. (Mainly hospital bills) These are not my responsibility and I am tired of unloading these calls and the second straw for me was them calling my home on a Sunday evening. Do they enjoy the right to call my personal number and after on a Sunday evening at that?
if he lives surrounded by your home yes if not describe them he doesn't live there and if they still will not stop speak to supervisor
Give them your son's phone number. That should end it.
Obviously your son used your designation and number as "responsible party" when he went to the hospital. If he is an full-grown without condition insurance the hosptial would come to you for payment of his bill. If he was/is a minor consequently you are in creation resposnbile for this bill, whether he lives with you or not. As long as your son puts your autograph and number on any contract he signs as a guarantor they have every right to beckon you on any day at anytime to collect what is owed to them...it's surrounded by the contract he signed. Your issue is not with the creditors but near your son.
They can nickname any night of the week the ruling only states they can not bid after a certain time. I assume your son does not live near you. You are being call because you are the contact provided. The next time the creditors appointment give them valid contact info for your son. Good luck.
This website is much more obliging as to the one posted above:
"How may a debt collector contact you?
A collector may contact you in personage, by mail, touchtone phone, telegram, or fax. However, a debt collector may not contact you at inconvenient times or places, such as before 8 a.m. or after 9 p.m., unless you agree. A debt collector also may not contact you at work if the collector know that your employer disapproves of such contacts."
Can you stop a debt collector from contacting you?
You can stop a debt collector from contacting you by writing a letter to the collector relating them to stop. Once the collector receives your note, they may not contact you again except to say in that will be no further contact or to notify you that the debt collector or the creditor intends to take some specific dealing. Please note, however, that sending such a missive to a collector does not make the debt be in motion away if you actually owe it. You could still be sued by the debt collector or your innovative creditor."
If you would like more information roughly speaking this please go to this site:

Be hard-working to what you say to the creditors. They will other let you know that the conversation is mortal recorded and anything you read aloud can be used in demand to collect the debt.
You need to request for them to dispatch you an address in lay down to send this dispatch out. You need to bring these letters typed out and sent stale to them ASAP in demand to get them to stop calling your house.
Good Luck.

this will tell you adjectives the rules and laws as they apply to your situation. You can achieve them to stop immediately by writing them a memo telling them to form no further attempt to collect until they can send you copies of the bills. You can further instruct them that they are to never telephone call your home and only are competent to conduct business with you, and or your Son surrounded by a written format only.
Answers: Probably the best solution is to have you son provide them beside his contact information and for him to start a dialouge with them. Do not "cover" for him, he will be OK beside getting the calls. Now if he does not speak near them they will continue to bid you. They know the rules and know at what times they can call. And they know your son is not in that, they are just trying to acquire some action on the story.
If that does not work.
Document each name that comes in. Be authentic nice when they call and procure the person's name, company label, address, and phone number, 800 and non toll free number if possible.
Then write a short dispatch addressed to the comliance department, get their identify if possible, stating you do not own any business with XYZ company, you hold asked multiple times for them to stop calling phone #, you are requesting they stop calling phone #.
You might also send make a note of to the hospital customer billing dept noting that the collecion agencies they are using are calling you after you enjoy requested they stop.
I know it seems approaching a pain, but it should appropriate 5 minutes per collection agency.
Ask a advocate. I have see in the the Fourth Estate classifieds where a party will simply state "I, (your name) am hereby not responsible for any debts owed or (can't think of the word, accrue??) by so and so." againg ask a lawyer. That tabloid posting is legally binding I hold heard.
