Credit/cosigner? i had to have a cosigner on my sports car and when
Answers: If it is special finance(ie. subprime) you may have a hard time doing this as it costs the smaller sub prime lenders to report it to your credit. If it is prime financing approaching GMAC, FORD or even Cap. 1 they should have no problem adding the payoff history within 30 days. I used to manage a used saloon lot that provided both inside financing (buy here/pay here) as well as outside financing for prime and sub-prime buyers. And usually in the satchel of a buyer/co-buyer situation only the buyer(signer 1) got the credit for the purchase. You can ask them for a report of your money history and if you are trying to get a new loan, the ledger may be satisfactory to swing it for the finance dept. There were several occasion when major finance companies would telephone and ask us to fax the payment history of a customer to help them procure financed. Even if it isn't on your credit, a good F& I guy can get things done.
Good Luck.
Contact the lender and ask them why it's not reported. You need to contact the company and ask them to report it, or hold your co-signor contact them to add this item on.
It should be on yours. You need to contact lender ASAP. He took the risk..he should be rewarded....
something is definately wrong. it should be on your credit report. you better contact the creditor and detail them they forgot to report your name to the credit bureaus.
