Credit score/ credit cards? So recently I canceled three of my credit cards. I really never
So recently I canceled three of my credit cards. I really never used them much. I be wondering if I hepled my credit score turn up by doing that.
Yes - it lowers your available credit, which lenders look at.
It may or may not...but by cancel your cards you have definitly benefited yourself.try it next to all of them! Imagine the money you will free without CC payments and interest!
Answers: no you actually hurt your credit ranking. by closing them out you are eliminating your credit worthiness. it is better for a lender to see 500 dollar mark out with no harmonize (saying hey look I always pay) than not seeing no credit worthiness (saying not a soul will take a kismet on me) part of your credit rack up is how much credit is lent to you and how much of that you actually use. no history of credit is impossible and by canceling your cards you are eliminating your history.
the smaller number credit cards you have the better and yes you did assist your credit score
It did affect your ranking. It probably lowered your score since you enjoy less accounts contained by good standing, you hold less available credit very soon, and your average account age is lowered. The credit rack up is formulated by many things, so the number of points your chalk up decreased will be determined by heaps other items of your financial background.
