Credit Report Question? How long does the following information needs to stay on the report?

How long does the following information needs to stay on the report?

* Accounts that are paid for as agreed
* Charge sour accounts

Answers:    The most recent 12 months hold the most weight on your CR in this instruct of importance: mortgages, installment loans (auto, boat, student), and revolving credit (credit cards). Your accounts will remain on your CR - regardless of payment status - for 7-10 years. Bad items similar to bankruptcies, federal tax liens, and civil court judgements will stay longer (10 years). But the further away they are from today, the smaller number they affect your overall score (both good and fruitless accounts). And I have been told by representatives from the 3 bureaus that the majority of your score are derived from the most recent 12 months of activity.
Accounts paid as agreed stay on for 7 years. I have hear of chargeoff's staying on as long as 10 years but I think it is actually 5-7 years. Reporting can stay on your account usually between 3 and 5 years. Bad reports can be there for up to 7 years - usually only 5. When reading the report it usually give you the date the record is subject to be removed.
Open accounts always remain.
Inquiries - 2 years
If it is ACCOUNTS PAID AS AGREED< as long as possable. They help your credit report and put together you look like a good risk. Now modify off accounts: If you have made apposite on them contact the credit agencies and inform them that you made good on the account. Other clever they are going to stay there from seven to ten years: and they look BAD on your report. Unless you some how made good on them. That is why you should check your report once a year. Charge off will remain on your reports for 7 years, unless there be some kind of error that is next corrected which might be removed.
At least 6 months I believe. a few years - making it harder to carry a decent loan with a fully clad interest rate - without a major down costs
