Credit Debt "written sour, and sold to lender, Then remunerated, Do I owe anything? I had a credit Card and consequently It was sold to a
I had a credit Card and consequently It was sold to a collection agency. I terminated up paying then surrounded by full. Months Later I checked my credit score and it said that the money be still owed in the Credit Card, and they have the same card on twice so it showed I owed double. It also states that I remunerated the collection agency the same amount owed. So I disputed the report. I get an update and I do not understand what it anticipate. It says that I be "written off" the amount owed on one of the credit cards and the other " written off" O. It also says it be sold to a lender. Then the lender now say originally "the name if my credit card". SO what does it be going to. Will that Credit Card ever say "paid" and except can I the people who check my credit connect the two? Do I still owe money? Sorry for the long message. Thank you in credit.

There is no statue of limitations on outstanding debt. If a creditor re-updates at least once every 2 years it can remain for abundant years. I would dispute it again to all 3 bureau and within the letter you transport be sure to put the above information in it. Collection agencies habitually purchase "bad debt" for pennies on the dollar and consequently try to collect the whole amount. It sounds resembling in your skin the original creditor spoilt to report it paid prior to selling receivable to the agency. Send supporting documents to the credit bureaus beside your dispute. not properly maintaining the information man reported to the bureaus is prohibited under the FCRA.
Its really complex to explain what could potentially happen,
I reccommend you spend some time reading around debt consolidation and credit cards.
