Credit Debt? I have below $5000 in debt, and I want to be paid
I have below $5000 in debt, and I want to be paid payments, but the payments I can afford, are not even covering the interest I am being charged. This debt be written off as desperate debt, and killing my credit along beside my debt growing. Does anyone have accepted wisdom in ways to go and get this debt lowered, by negotiating? The majority of the debt come fom Capital One and the agency who now have the account said that they will not negotiate a payoff plan with me, per Capital One's requirements. They will work near me on a payoff, but I cannot afford the payoff. Any ideas out within?

I've never hear of a collection agency that wouldn't accept a expense plan that you can afford.
Part of the problem here is that you are accruing more debt the longer you run without paying as they are continuing to supply interest to it.
You need to call upon them back. Tell them what you can afford and work out a transfer of funds plan with them. Most of them will also negotiate a lower interest rate beside you too.
One other thing you might want to try is to ring Capital One and see if you can negotiate something directly with them.
Whatever agreement you do take with them in relation to repayment, get it contained by writing.
Go to the FTC website and read what your rights are under the Fair Debt Collection Laws. If you believe they enjoy violated any of the laws, report them. (link below)
I don't know what state you are surrounded by but often time, the Salvation Army or United Way within your area can recommend a correct credit counselor that can help you. I become fainter to recommend a lot of the credit counselors out in that because unfortunately, various of them are scam artists that will put you even deeper in debt but a biddable one can be a Godsend. They will contact the collection agency on your behalf and stop the harassing phone calls. They will also negotiate a expenditure plan that you can afford with a lower interest rate but be really careful within finding a credit counselor. Call one of the above agencies and ask them if they can recommend someone.
PS - I just go to the Department of Justice to see who the approved credit counselors were for Bankruptcy (and I am within no way recommend that you file collapse - I just know they had an approved list). CCC America seem to pop up all over the place so you might try their website. (link below)
I'm also giving you the Dept. of Justice join as it gives adjectives of their approved counselors by state.
