Credit card for someone beside fruitless credit? i have applied almost everywhere. when i was younger my mother used
I agree with Echo in that you really involve to clear up what your moms did. You shouldn't suffer because she couldn't get her act together. Sorry to be rough almost your moms, but that's how I see it. You'll need to dispute those accounts and possibly have your moms prosecuted for identity robbery. I know it sounds harsh, but consider your current and future situation.
After you're competent to resolve your situation with the credit bureaus and authorities, Orchard Bank has a huge selection of cards for people next to different credit scenarios
There's alot of websites you can turn to with bad credit. I don't know any bad hand, but go to yahoo rummage through engine and type in credit cards. you should be able to find something.

Since the desperate credit reporting was not yours, why not clean that up first and next start building your credit.
File disputes with the CRA's and the creditors for those fraudulent accounts.
When your mother stole your identity, used it to gain credit and then default, she left you in a awfully bad position. Not only are your reports within bad shape but you also run the risk of being sued for the default debts.
You should make cleaning that up a priority over applying for credit - doing that, you won't have to verbs about having collectors hounding you or answering your door solely to have a summons handed to you.
Major credit card issuers close to Discover, American Express and Chase offer a credit card for bad credit holders. A 'shopping' card offer you an unsecured line of credit from specific sellers. Hi!
I would be very vigilant of so-called "shopping" or "membership cards..the fees are absurd..and intensely many times they report nothing at adjectives.
Secured cards are the best bet from the likes of:
Bank Of America
US Bank
Wells Fargo
Please do not get one of the ripoff cards that, after they hold added all the fees..you have incredibly little credit..and it will look horrible the very first time they report to the bureaus.
Get a reasonable card..maintain it well below 50% of your limit..and be habitual about timely payments. In time..the bad stuff will roll rotten (maybe..) and the good stuff will help increase your rack up.
There is a lot of bad suggestion on here..like the one that says paying a chargeoff will raise your score. It won't.
A paid chargeoff is no better that a unpaid one..and you hold restarted the seven year clock..which means it will be on there for *another* long spell of time. It's just not worth it.
Pull all three *at least* four times a year..I verbs all three whenever I feel resembling it. It is critical that you find inaccurate info..and dispute it. Sometimes...as is with my covering with Crap One..litigation is needed to get them to follow the statute.
So be it.
I'll probably sue Equifax as well..they are horrible.
Remember it is your job to dispute wrong info..and put good stuff on there while the disfavour the old bad stuff go away in time. Do NOT apply for a bunch of stuff at one time..that hurts too. I think Citi Credit monitinoruing service and truecredit's 3 within 1 credit report and monitoring are worth looking at..they are realoly free for thrity days as long as cancel..and I have found Citi's Score simulator to the the best I hold ever used. Pay it every month? Nope. I just can't see it.
I have no problem re-activating it after six months, though..when in attendance is more on the reports..and more to learn.
I will keep Equifax's Gold service helpful for a few months..it is worth the fee to pull a report as i obligation to..that is my primary bureau anyways.
Good Luck!

Generally, someone will bequeath you a credit card. In a worst case scenario you will probably get a $200-$300 credit string and need to pay the annual charge up front.
Anyway, try typing HSBC into your search engine and apply for one of their cards. They won't make you payment the annual fee before you can use your card if you're approved.
