Please help if you can.

P.S. i beleive it is surrounded by the process of being canceld. i put a reward upon opening the side. I believe they are sending me back the reward. I can close the account after i recieve the check.
It's best to keep hold of the card. You must use it once in a while or they will close it. Charge something small, next pay it past its sell-by date the same month so you don't incur any interest charges.
That within fact is the best style to use a credit card - as a charge card which is paid respectively month, rather than keeping a match. It will make your credit chalk up go up.
I think it looks better on your credit if you preserve the card... just enjoy it at a zero symmetry. Cut up the card to avoid temptation

YOU HAVE TO KEEP IT ACTIVE CHARGE IT EVEN FOR 5 dollars a month and newly pay it sour so it shows its active contained by your report .
TRUST ME DONT CANCEL!!
Keep the card, and slice it within half. A portion of your credit evaluation is determined by length of time you have established credit on respectively individual line (fancy heading for someone you owe money to / debitor)
When you close a line, it cannot relief your credit, only negatively effect

I'm going to be the weird and wonderful man out here and say CANCEL the card. If you aren't using it, and you enjoy 2 other cards that you do use, there's no point in keeping this one open out.
Any good credit history that you built by using the card will remain on your credit report. It DOES NOT GO AWAY when you close the depiction. Anyone who thinks this without a doubt doesn't know much about credit history. If closing an report made the history disappear, people would close accounts to some extent than file liquidation, wouldn't they?
Too much "available credit" can be viewed as a doomed to failure thing by potential lenders. You may hold zero balance on your cards, but if you have available credit of $10,000, consequently you have the potential to run up $10,000 within debt.
It's better to keep a couple of cards, near $2-3,000 credit limits on respectively, and try to pay the stability off every month. That's what builds a strong, nutritious credit history.
It is better to leave the credit card as it is , the duration for which you hold the card is reflected contained by your credit history. From http://acreditlibrary.com/buildcredit.ht...
