I have a follow-up interview tomorrow near a very ample company (for whom I presently work in Information Systems) as a Credit Card Analyst.

My concern is that I am not extraordinarily familiar next to the role and that I have be told (by the individuals in my previous interview) that this is a notably specialized role to which most people would not bring transferable skills, aside from systems skill and multi-tasking.

Can anyone tell me an overview of what a Credit Card Analyst is responsible for? I know that this role will require communication near major card companies for chargebacks, but beyond that I am clueless and I want to engender a great impression!

Any detailed information will be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure this is a commercial or consumer credit Being a credit analyst you must work out and know how to read the financial statement of a company. Analyze their debt and income. You also have to evaluation and analyze of project economics, risks and uncertainties. Know how to budget, and strategic plans, analyze existing documents and much more depends on the company requirements. Commercial credit analyst requires more skills than consumer credit. With consumer credit (credit card), you also have to think through credit report, debt/income ratio, and spending habits. It system you have to infer and analyze the financial statements and financial history of applicants for credit in instruct to evaluate their creditworthiness

Most credit analyst requires at least a bachelor within finance or accounting + couple years of experience. Sometimes a MBA prefer.
