Cell phone deposits? OK i had a previous bill with a cell phone mover

OK i had a previous bill with a cell phone mover that went into collections. I paid it past its sell-by date. Is there any way of me getting verizon service minus paying a deposit
not really. I used to trade cell phones and the cell companies see having an outstanding bill with another mover as a red flag.
YOu might be able to talk to a supervisor ( I worked within a call center ) and or their boss SOMETIMES they can but its rare. Just reimburse he deposit, keep your bill clean for 1 yr later get the deposit back ( thats how it worked next to the company I worked for )
Or do pre pay. If you know you're a talker and can't settle high bills then pre wages is good, cause it will constrict you unless you pay that high set off up front BUT alltel has the best rate for pre pay, I dont know if you enjoy that in your area, verizon sucks when it comes to ppay.
